Axelize for Google Meet

Live coaching inside the call, with nothing joining it.

Axelize connects to Google Meet through a Chrome extension that reads the live captions Meet already generates in your browser. No meeting bot is invited, no audio or video is captured, and the buyer sees nothing unusual. The only requirement is that captions are turned on.

What it does

  1. Live caption capture

The extension reads the caption text Meet renders in the page as the conversation happens.

  2. In-call suggestion panel

Suggestions appear in a side panel over the meeting, visible only to you.

  3. Transcript saved to the account

The caption transcript attaches to the meeting record so later calls have the history.

How to set it up

  1. Install the Axelize extension

Add the extension from the Chrome Web Store and sign in with your Axelize account.

  2. Turn on captions in Meet

Click the CC button in the Meet controls. Axelize reads the captions Google generates; without them there is no transcript to read.

  3. Open the Axelize panel

Click the extension icon during the call. The panel opens beside the meeting and starts following the conversation.

Frequently asked questions

Does a bot join my Google Meet call?
No. Axelize runs entirely in your browser as an extension. Nothing is added to the participant list and other attendees see no indication it is running.
Do I have to turn captions on every call?
Yes. Meet's captions are the transcript source. You can set captions to default on in your Google Meet settings so it happens automatically.
Does Axelize work with Zoom or Microsoft Teams?
Not yet. Google Meet is the only supported platform today.
