# Free Sales Follow-Up Email Generator

> A sales follow-up email recaps what the buyer said and proposes one next step. Pick the moment, such as after discovery, after a demo, a no-show or a deal gone quiet, add the buyer's name, their problem and the next step, and this tool writes a short email you can copy. It is free.

Pick the moment, add three details and copy a short email that sounds like you wrote it.

## Every template, by situation

### After a discovery call

Recap the problem in their words and lock the next step.

Subject: Next steps for {company}

Hi {name},

Thanks for the time today. What I heard: {pain}, and it is getting in the way of how {company} works.

The next step we agreed was {nextStep}. I'll send a calendar invite so it is on the books.

If I got anything wrong, tell me and I'll fix it before we meet.

Best,
{sender}

### After a demo

Tie what you showed to the problem they raised.

Subject: What we covered, and what comes next

Hi {name},

Thanks for joining the demo. You raised {pain}, so I focused on the parts that address it most directly.

To keep things moving, the next step is {nextStep}. If anyone else at {company} should be involved, add them and I'll tailor it.

Anything from today still unclear? Reply with the question and I'll answer it in writing.

Best,
{sender}

### After a no-show

Low pressure, easy to say yes to.

Subject: Missed you today

Hi {name},

We missed each other today, no problem. I know how quickly the day fills up.

We were going to talk about {pain}. If it is still worth a conversation, I can do {nextStep}. Reply with a time that suits you.

If the timing is wrong, tell me and I'll check back later.

Best,
{sender}

### Proposal sent, no reply

Make replying easy with a yes or no question.

Subject: Quick question on the proposal

Hi {name},

I wanted to check in on the proposal I sent for {company}. You mentioned {pain}, and I want to be sure it covers that properly.

A quick yes or no helps me: is {nextStep} still the right next step, or has something changed on your side?

Either answer is fine. I would just rather know.

Best,
{sender}

### Lead that went cold

Reopen with a reason, not an apology.

Subject: Is {company} still dealing with this?

Hi {name},

When we last spoke, {pain} was a concern at {company}. I do not know whether that is still true, so I'll ask directly.

If it is, I would suggest {nextStep}. If it has moved down the list, tell me and I'll stop following up.

Best,
{sender}

## How it works

### Pick the moment

Five situations cover most follow-ups: after discovery, after a demo, a no-show, a quiet proposal and a lead gone cold.

### Add three details

A name, what the buyer told you and the agreed next step. Leave a field empty and a bracket marks the gap.

### Copy and send

The email is short on purpose. One recap, one ask, no filler. Change a word or two and it is yours.

## Who it is for

Sellers who finish a call and need a clear email out in minutes, not an hour later when the details have faded.

## Skip the writing after every call

This tool writes from three details you type. Axelize drafts the follow-up from the call itself, with the buyer's own words and the account's records already in it.

## FAQ

### How long after a call should I send a follow-up email?

Send it the same day, ideally within a couple of hours, while the buyer still remembers the conversation. A fast, short recap also shows you were listening, which helps more than a polished email sent two days later.

### What should a sales follow-up email include?

Thank them briefly, restate their problem in their own words, name the agreed next step with a date, and ask for one thing. Anything beyond that, such as a feature list or a long introduction, makes it less likely to get a reply.

### How many times should I follow up with a prospect?

Plan for several attempts, spaced a few days apart, with something new in each message. If you hear nothing after that, a plain message that closes the loop is better than silence.

### Does this tool store my email?

No. The email is built in your browser from the details you type, and nothing is sent to a server or kept.
